Steelcape Host Drivers can be installed on all systems that may access your network, or that may access LANS across different subnets within your network. Host Drivers are also installed on internal systems, such as desktop systems/servers, application servers, and database servers. Steelcape Host Drivers provide end-to-end security across all networked nodes and execute digital certificate and encryption mechanisms to secure our transactional data. Since a fundamental feature of Steelcape supports the closing of ports on your firewalls.
Host Drivers enable secure network communications between systems on opposite sides of the firewalls. Steelcape Host Drivers operate independently, so the Steelcape Enterprise Server is not required at all times for secure data flow. Host Drivers can be installed on all systems that may access your network, or that may access LANS across different subnets within your network. Host Drivers are also installed on internal systems, such as desktop systems/servers, application servers, and database servers.
Host Drivers provide the following for each communication session:
- True Endpoint security
- Authentication
- Encryption
- Communications without open ports
