Steelcape Gateway Overview:
The Steelcape Gateway is an appliance that provides simple deployment and requires not user, server or application modifications. The Appliance works with current security, business applications or data storage devices to improve network communications performance and security.

The Steelcape Gateway provides end-to-end security across all networked nodes and executes digital certificate and encryption mechanisms to secure our transactional data, and provides a fundamental feature of Steelcape as it does not require the opening of ports on your firewalls.
The Steelcape Gateway enables secure network communications between systems on opposite sides of the firewalls. The Appliance operates independently, so the Steelcape Enterprise Server™ is not required at all times for secure data flow
The Gateway provides the following for each communication session:

- Encryption
- Communications without open ports
