Mark H. Segal PHD; Adjunct Professor College of Business Administration and Master's Program in Homeland Security San Diego State University

Dr. Siegel is Adjunct Professor in the College of Business Administration and the Master's Program in Homeland Security at San Diego State University (SDSU). He is Co-Director of the International Technology and Trade Network (ITTN), a San Diego State University (SDSU) Academic Institute; and Adjunct Professor in the SDSU College of Business Administration where he conducts work on international business development including the application of management standards. He also serves as Technical Consultant for the Western Regional Pollution Prevention Network in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region IX.

Dr. Siegel works with ASIS International (the international security professionals association) as their Security Management Systems Consultant. He represents ASIS at the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), and other international forums, on security management at international and national standards forum. He woks with ASIS International and national standards bodies on six continents to develop international incident preparedness, security, and continuity standards for the security sector as well as provides training on their implementation.

In collaboration with Standards Institution of Israel (SII), Dr. Siegel developed and authored the Israel Security Management Standard, tools, and guidelines based on other ISO management standards and oversaw the conduct of pilot implementation studies. He has written draft standards, guidance, and documents on security, emergency preparedness, business and operational continuity, and supply chain security for SII and ISO. He was principal author of the ISO/PAS Societal Security: Guidelines for Incident Preparedness and Operational Continuity Management.

Dr. Siegel has worked on several projects affiliated with the U.S. Department of Commerce (USDOC) promoting business development and cooperation in and between Egypt, Israel, Jordan, and the Palestinian Territories. In 2003, he was asked to turn around a failing foundation funded by the USDOC and initiated a transparent system of programs for economic/business development, education and entrepreneurship training.

Dr Anat Zeelim-Hovav; Professor Managment information Systems Korea University of Business

Dr Anat Zeelim-Hovav is a Professor of Management Information Systems at the Korea University Business School with expertise in IT Risk Management and Management Information Systems. Doctor Zeelim-Hovav has held positions at Temple University as well as USC in their prospective graduate programs.

Dr. Zeelim-Hovav has been contributed to many journals and books with topics on: the market value impact of a company after announcing a hacker attack or virus infiltration, best practices for MIS/IT security, and the Trusted Computing Initiative. A series of her publications focus directly on the fiscal and market impact of poorly deployed security solutions that are breached and points out the weaknesses and provides the success for prevention of future security issues. In addition to publishing books and journals, Dr Zeelim-Hovav has been involved in reviewing and editing many MIS/IT Security publications.

Doctor Zeelim-Hovav has been involved in many projects including chairing the recent 6th Security Conference held in Las Vegas, Los Angeles School Board Y2K project, San Mateo College IT upgrade project, and MIS Director of the Children's Hospital Los Angeles, CA. She has also won grants from Aventis Behring and State Farm insurance for the purpose of IT Security counter measures.
